Rural broadband expansion is now complete. Residents are encouraged to register at www.xplornet.com or call 1-866-841-6001 to be referred to a local dealer partner in the area or to obtain more information.

  •  August 25, 2009 Council Meeting – authorization to apply for Provincial and Federal Grants for Broadband Project

  •  October 13, 2009 Council Meeting – JEPP Application (repeaters – internet towers)

  •  October 13, 2009 Council Meeting – Letter of Support – Federal Broadband Grant

  •  October 28, 2009 – application to Provincial Broadband Grant

  •  January 31, 2010 – agreement between BXI and Camrose County signed

  •  March 22, 2010 - Bashaw 3.5 GHz tower upgrade completed (Service Available)

  •  March 22, 2010 - Pelican Point 3.5 GHz tower upgrade completed (Service Available)

  •  April 19, 2010 - Legacy Junction 3.5 GHz tower upgrade completed (Service Available)

  •  April 20, 2010 - Miquelon Telus 3.5 GHz tower build completed (Service Available)

  •  May 29, 2010 - New Norway 3.5 GHz tower build completed (Service Available)

  •  May 29, 2010 - Tofield 3.5 GHz tower build completed (Service Available)

  •  June 8, 2010 - Edberg Telus 3.5 GHz tower build completed (Service Available)

  •  June 8, 2010 - Rosalind 3.5 GHz tower build completed (Service Available)
