Tax Deadline

Please be advised that the Tax deadline is Saturday July 31, 2010  midnight

The Camrose County Administration Building will be closed on Saturday July 31, 2010

Payment for property tax can be made as follows:

  1.  Check/Money Order.  Submit a check or money order for tax payment in the mailbox at the front door of the administration building.  All payments received in this mailbox before 8:30am on August 3rd, 2010 are considered on time.  Checks and money orders placed in the mailbox must be dated July 31, 2010.  Any envelopes placed in the mailbox after 8:30 am August 3rd are considered late and the 2% penalty will be applied to the property tax account.  Please do not place cash in the mailbox.

  1. Mail.  The postmark on the envelope must be before midnight on July 31, 2010.  Any envelopes postmarked after midnight on July 31, 2010 are considered late and the 2% penalty will be applied to the property tax account.

  1. Online banking.  Payments made online must be done on or before July 31, 2010 before midnight.  Online payments generate a report to our Tax department and are dated.  Ensure that when making a payment through your financial institution the payment is dated  on or before midnight on July 31, 2010 to avoid the late payment penalty.

  1. Credit Cards:  We do not accept credit cards for payment of property taxes.
